RAJIV AND TALLULAH

We adore them and are thankful that they took the time to share some of the coolest biking experiences in Goa. On the first night in Panjim, we sat in a cafe with maps that they brought with them. These maps had notes that they had made on previous trips. They are voracious bikers and have travelled extensively through the interiors of Goa. We wish that they would consider documenting their knowledge of biking in Goa. Always ready to hop on a bike and travel with people. Without these people Goa for us would not be what it is..

As we were riding our rented scooters we saw people walking in the sea and were wondering how. After sometime we realized this low tide coming in. The people are harvesting mussels and they do this everyday in the afternoons. Either they sell the mussels or consume them.

It was fascinating to see them equidistant to each other..

We bre-friended this lady who was one of the mussel pickers..

The ground was slowing getting covered by the tide and people were making their way back home from the sea.

These people go way inside to harvest the mussels carrying the pick on their heads in reused plastic gunny bags..

Smoking seems to have no divisions of class, colour, creed, religion..
